Microsoft is planning to integrate MSN-messenger into network Microsoft Live. Google all time develops its own messenger GTalk what is built into GMail.
More light future have only messenger like Skype or Gizmo (other words VoIP). It linked to possibility make calls to phones and mobiles and possibility make videocalls. But few days ago google made videocalls integrated into GTalk.
