Mother's new hairdrier

Few days ago my mother's hairdried have been broken. I don't know why, she doesn't too. So she decided to buy the new one.

She had a choice between expensive and two cheap. The broken hairdrier was expensive. It works little bit more than one year. The cheap hairdriers have a one year warranty. So, mother gets the cheap one, because it will (warranty) work one year too. Why need she pay more?

Hm. Maybe she's right :)
