More than one week ago my plane successfully landed in Istanbul airport. It was evening, so I checked in hotel somewhere close 9 p.m. But the 45-minutes way from airport to hotel looked like a journey. I've never seen before situation, when driver try to ride through 2-3 lines in time of big street traffic, when public transport makes car accidents, whe people cross streets wherever they want. You should remeber that Istanbul is a very huge city and amount of eople here is more than citizens in Belarus.
After arriving I had a short walk around the central part of the city. A lot of lights and flags around the streets sad that Istanbul is preparing to become the cultural capital of Europe.
In second day I started (I did not mention I wasn't alone, but with 2 girls from Belarus) from the visit of famous Blue Mosque. The road included metro and finiculior. It is realy cool to see this amazing building. Short rest in beautiful park, Turkish fast-food, and then a trip to Asia by a boat.
Few days later I had some deals with foreigners (it was special event with Youth in Action). In Thursday t was very impressive tour on Bosphorus.
Every evening there were the rest time in the hotel. We (!) drunk alkohol from various countries and had a funny time.
In Saturday I flew back to cold Belarus. Now I can only say that Istanbul is my new favourite city.
