"2012" movie

It is very popular last years to create films about disasters. I can remind a lot of it, but the most notional was "The day after tomorrow". Some months ago I got a news, that Roland Emmerich (the director) is making new fantastic movie about world's crash, and the name of it is "2012".

A lot of ballyhoo around the movie, trailers, short films about special effects in the movie, etc. After all this fuzzbuzz I started to wait the first day and first go to buy ticket to a cinema.

At first I was shocked that the length of the movie is more that 2 (TWO) hours. I thought it will be just a computer graphic and special effects. But is it possible to create a movie of visual effects? I surmised it is not good...

... After 30-40 minutes of the movie I became upset. What di I get? I got 2 and half of hour film, which is full of gibble-gabble. Sometimes audience catched not bad visual effects and interesting sequences.

Along to the end I started to notice that budged of the fiml have been ended and staff made last minutes with the rest of money.

Actors... I think it is not a big art to play in this film. All you need is to have a good imagination, because all movie have been shooted with a blue background. So you have not any possibility to see a real fatality. John Cusack (Jackson Curtis) and Woody Harrelson (Charlie Frost) played very good. Zlatko Buric, who played Russian oligarch, looks very funny. Other roles are less professional and do not need a got play.

Consequence. I think it's very tedious movie. If Roland Emmerich wants to create new "The day after tomorrow", he should cut out all these talks and add much more actions. Because people are not interested in the story, which they know very good.
